What's going on with Lady Gaga?
I used to love her music when she came out with huge hits such as "Pokerface" and "Just Dance". "The Fame" was a great album and sold 15 million copies worldwide.
I knew she was a little crazy, so I let her meat dress and other weird outifts slide.
Now, her gimmick has gone too far!
It seems that now everything is for attention. I think she feels that she has to compete with other female pop artists such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus.
Most recently, Gaga performed at the SXSW music event in Austin, Texas. During her performance, she had a girl VOMIT on her!
I couldn't bear to watch the video, but I'm very disappointed in Lady Gaga.
There are many girls out there in the world that are suffering from bulimia and anorexia and she's trying to pass off what she did as "art". What she did was disgusting, disturbing, and completely ridiculous.
Pop star Demi Lovato stormed off on Twitter about Lady Gaga's performance.
"Putting the word ART in it isn't a free card to do whatever you want without consequences."
As we all know, Demi Lovato went to rehab in 2010 for drug abuse and had issues with eating disorders growing up.
Anyways, people are barely buying Gaga concert tickets and she's losing fans.

Vomit eww yuck. Lady Gaga still has some good songs but it's nothing like The Fame. She's shown us all that now nothing is exciting nor interesting.

I agree 100%, Selina! 2009 was a great year for her. It seems that pop artists these days are focusing on shock value rather than their actual music.

ReplyDeleteI love a lot of her songs, but I've never liked her as a person because of the things she does. Still, it is kind of sad that she's losing fans, even if it's for a reason.

I refuse to watch that performance because I really like Artpop and Lady Gaga. I just focus on her muisic and not her gimmicks.
