I'M BACK! (Updates)

Woww guys! I haven't posted in forever! Let's make that 5 months to be exact. I have been completely wrapped up in homework, college applications, work and just a whole bunch of stress on top of that! But, now exam week is over! So I can relax a bit for a change.

I'm so happy to be back! I wonder if you all even still remember who I am LOL.

UPDATES!

Hey you guys!

Here are a couple updates about my blog and my life:

• As you can see, I changed my blog layout...again! I really like this layout because the complete white background makes my blog look more neat and just completely better rather than my previous childish blog HAHA. I want to give a HUGE thank you to Avonell who helped me so much with this new layout. Show her amazing blog some love right HERE.
• Starting from today, I will post on my blog every Monday and Friday. My blog posts have been very inconsistent lately so I thought that this would help me to stay on track. Also, anyone that actually enjoys reading my blog now will know when to check in (:
• Along with my new Blog Series (that you can see on the right sidebar), I will have a weekly poll about any of the latest topics in entertainment! I'd love to see your answers!

I'm BACK!/2014 Summer Goals

Hey guys! I feel like I haven't blogged in foreverrr! I was so busy with AP exams, SAT, and final exams. It's finally summer and I finally get to relax!

2014 Summer Goals

1. Get my ears re-pierced

2. Read at least 10 novels

3. Have the courage to wear a two-piece bathing suit to the beach

4. Go on a shopping spree

5. Finally get my learning permit

6. Narrow down the colleges I want to attend (I'm growing up!)

7. Go to at least one concert

8. Catch up on all of my favorite TV shows

9. Exercise at least three times a week

10. Watch every single Disney princess movie (You know I've never seen "Little Mermaid"?)

Happy Sunday + Mini Haul

Happy Sunday guys!

Today was a really good day for me. I went to church and the guest pastor who gave the sermon did really well! I was so impressed. And, the weather today felt like it was spring.

My striped top and khaki pants are from one of my favorite stores, H&M. It's simple, yet cute.

On Saturday, the weather was so nice that I got into a dress shopping mood. I had such a hard time deciding between a navy & yellow or a red & white floral dress. (I LOVE FLORAL).

I ended up going with the navy and blue dress because I felt those colors looked really good on my skin color. I can't wait to wear it in the spring!

I also got a pair of black studded loafers. They were only $12!

Overall, I had a pretty good weekend!

I Got My First Job!

Hey guys!

Today I went to an orientation for my very first job! I'm 17 and I decided that I wanted to make money of my own in order to save up for college and buy A LOT of clothes and food lol. I'm going to be getting paid more than minimum wage, so I'm happy!!!

I'll try to sneak more photos later haha

I'm going to be working at a retirement home where I'll be serving food and cleaning (Wait Staff). I clocked in for the first time today! I was so excited for some odd reason lol.

I have one more orientation and then I find out my schedule and when I start working. I'll give you guys an update on that.

I NEVER take bathroom selfies, you can obviously tell by the awkward positioning of my fingers. I'm a newbie guys haha.

I can't decide which shoe to buy with my FIRST pay check.

My New Layout!

Happy Sunday guys!

Yesterday and today, I spent most of my time trying to change the layout of my blog. I felt that it was so basic and I just didn't like it.

I searched like crazy on Google for different templates, until I found this one from Puglypixel.

I'm not technology savvy at all (even though I'm 17), so I'd like to give a big shoutout to these amazing bloggers that helped a sista out! Mayran, Ashlee, and Kristine ! Everyone follow these girls and their fabulous blogs. (:

Now, I'm 80% satisfied with my blog layout. I just need to change my header and add a couple of things here and there.

I'm so estactic and grateful that I've been getting lovely followers, comments, views, and likes from you guys! You don't understand how much it means to me, thank you so much.

My First Trip To Nigeria!

I realized that I haven't really introduced myself in any of my posts! So, I decided to share with you my fellow bloggers my first trip to Nigeria.

Well first off, my name is Ngozi(en-guh-z), not too difficult lol. I'm 17 years old and I'm a Capricorn (woot!) I'm a born and raised Maryland girl. My parents were born and raised in Nigeria so that would make me Nigerian-American. I love my culture, but have never been to my real home. 

I finally went in December and it was such an amazing experience. I met so many family members for the first time and I felt so blessed to finally meet them.

I got to celebrate my paternal grandmother's 80th birthday, experience the markets, weddings, and restaurants, and ride around in their transportation (which was crazy but I'm not even going to get into that lol.) I wish I took more photos, but the next time I go to Nigeria I definitely will! Here are some photos from my trip, enjoy and leave some comments guys! (:
